How to play Wayfarer's Thread

A short two-player route-collecting game. The traveler who is behind chooses the next empty stop on the one-way journey and collects its scenery, meal, or souvenir reward. Build matching sets for bonuses; after both travelers reach the finish, the higher score wins.

Controls

  • Choose an empty stop ahead to move and collect its category reward
  • R: restart the journey

Tips

  1. Taking the lead gives the next stop choice to the trailing traveler.
  2. Balance a short move with a valuable collection or set bonus.
