How to play Classic Sudoku

Classic Sudoku provides puzzles with a unique solution. Select a cell and fill in a number, using row, column, and box elimination to complete the grid. Notes, conflict hints, and limited clues help you keep your deductions organized.

Controls

  • Mouse or touch: select a cell and number
  • Arrow keys: move the current selection
  • 1–9: enter a number; N: toggle note mode
  • H: use a hint; R: generate a new puzzle; F: toggle fullscreen

Tips

  1. Look first for a number with only one possible position in a row, column, or box.
  2. Use notes to keep candidate numbers visible instead of guessing too early.
