How to play Neutral Goal
A local two-player game on a 5×5 board. Each turn, move the neutral marker one adjacent square, then move one of your five pieces as far as possible in a straight line. Reach your own home row with the marker or leave the next player without a legal marker move to win. This adaptation requires both actions from the first turn and allows skipping the piece move if all your pieces are immobilized.
Controls
- Click or tap a highlighted square to select and move; arrow keys navigate; Enter or Space chooses; Escape cancels
- R or the on-screen button: restart
Tips
- The marker cannot share a square with a piece.
- Check the marker’s next legal squares before moving a piece.
