How to play 15 Puzzle

Move tiles next to the blank space on a four-by-four board to arrange numbers 1–15 in order. Every shuffle is made from legal moves, so each puzzle is solvable.

Controls

  • Click a tile next to the blank space
  • Arrow keys: move a neighboring tile
  • R: shuffle; F: toggle fullscreen

Tips

  1. Finish the top two rows before arranging the bottom.
  2. Every shuffle is solvable because it uses legal moves.
