How to play Chess
Chess is a classic two-player strategy game. Select a piece and choose a highlighted legal square. Play against the computer, locally with another player, or watch an automatic demonstration; castling, en passant, promotion, and draw rules are handled.
Controls
- Click a piece, then a highlighted destination
- U: undo; R: restart; Esc: pause
- F: toggle the game area fullscreen
Tips
- Control the center and develop minor pieces early to keep your king safe.
- Before moving, check for checks, captures, and forks from your opponent.
