How to play Capture Go

Capture Go keeps the liberties, suicide, and ko rules of Go while using a faster win condition: the first player to capture any opposing group wins.

Controls

  • Touch or mouse: place a stone on an intersection
  • Choose player versus AI, local two-player, or AI versus AI
  • R: restart; F: toggle fullscreen

Tips

  1. Count the liberties of both groups before attacking.
  2. Stones near an edge have fewer escape routes and need support early.
