How to play Breakthrough
Play an original 8×8 strategy game against the computer. Move a piece one square straight forward or diagonally forward; diagonal moves can capture. Win by reaching your opponent’s back rank or leaving them with no legal move.
Controls
- Click one of your pieces and a destination square; restart
- R or the on-screen button: restart
Tips
- Use the front rank to control diagonals and open routes for pieces behind it.
- Rules and control hints are shown in the game.
