How to play SQL 98: Digital Detective
Investigate cases in a fictional 1998 archive terminal. Explore the database tables, write read-only SQL queries, collect three key records, merge them into an evidence chain, and submit a suspect. The built-in SQL supports basic SELECT, WHERE with AND, ORDER BY, and LIMIT; it does not support joins or multiple statements.
Controls
- Type a query in the SQL editor; Ctrl or Command + Enter runs it
- Click a table name to insert a query; use the example button for an investigation hint
- Collect records from results, merge the evidence chain, then choose and submit a suspect
